Advocate for bike lanes on KY 32

Links to handouts from Tuesday evening's meeting about changes on Rt 32 between Viking Drive and Park Hills Drive are posted below. The public is invited to provide comments on these proposed changes.  Comments are due to Rachel Catchings <rachel.catchings@ky.gov> by August 1.  Please consider advocating for bike lanes on paved shoulders (item 6), for rumble strips to be placed on the white line, and for bike lanes to be painted on the connector up to Viking Drive.

Party for Local Yak Ranch July 26th

Greg and Linda Dike are having a party to launch their yak ranch on Saturday, July 26 at 3 pm.  The ranch is located on Cub Run Road, which is located off of 1693 via 1274 off of 801.  Directions are easiest by using GPS to find Cub Run Road. Once you turn on Cub Run, the ranch is 1/4 mile up on the left.  Look for a sign near the road.  There will be live Bluegrass music and a picnic including food and drinks.  The amenities will include running water, a sink and compost toilet, but no electricity. The yaks will be behind fences, so no unwanted encounters. The new barn is sizable, and so a place for shade is available.
