The Northern Terminus is about 15 miles north on highway 377 from the highway 32 intersection.</div>

2. <u>April 12th - Triplet Creek Clean-Up.</u> 11 am until 4pm. Come work an hour or stay all day. We know you are busy and we appreciate any time you can donate to help. We will be cleaning up the area over near City Park by the Memorial Tree Walk ( the site of our new tree planting to combat climate change , beautify our city, celebrate Arbor Day)<br />
3. <u>April 16th - Tree Planting Along Triplet - </u>Trees provide us with so many benefits from oxygen, shade, fruits, nuts, beauty, wood, etc... Let's plant some trees. Come help plant trees along the creek near the Memorial Tree Walk. Check Sustainable Morehead's Facebook page for details. Tree planting is very sustainable. <br />
3. <u>April 27th - Rowan County Arbor Day Celebration- </u>The Morehead Tree Board is sponsoring a celebration of Arbor Day at Rodburn Hollow Park. Rex Mann ( a TED Talk Speaker) will be discussing the revitalization of the American Chestnut, a majestic tree that once thrived in our region and was an important part of the economy. The American Chestnut was about destroyed by a disease but , thanks to the hard work of many scientists, might make a come-back. Everyone loves an underdog story. Come hear this dynamic speaker tell us the story of the American Chestnut, help plant some trees, and play in the park. Bring your friends and family. It will be a memorable day. Second Sunday Hike. Meet @ the Morehead United Methodist Church parking
lot, 2:00 PM, Nov 12. We will car pool to the site and hike the Fern
Valley Trail beginning @ the Eagle Lake Dam. Allow 1.5 to 2 hours for
this outing. Will the fall leaf colors still be with us?</div>
