KAEE Sustainability Symposium

What does it mean to be sustainable? Is sustainability education the same as environmental education? Join us as we explore these questions and more in a day filled with stimulating speakers, local foods, and tours of Northern Kentucky.
Tours include canoeing the Licking River, visiting downtown Covington, and touring Sanitation District 1. Register at: kaee.org/symposium.
KAEE Eco Treasure Hunt
Join us on a fun-filled adventure for all ages. Over Memorial Day week, KAEE, in partnership with Kentucky State Parks, will be kicking off the 2013 Eco-Treasure Hunt. From May 25 through 31, head to your local state park and seek out some nature-inspired treasures. All recreation and resort parks will be participating. If you succeed in finding even just one item on the hunt list, you are eligible to enter into the Eco-Treasure Hunt raffle for lots of amazing prizes.www.kaee.org/treasure-hunt

Bike and Hike for May Cancelled
Due to the holidays in May, the Second Sunday bicycle ride and Fourth Sunday Hike are cancelled. Please plan to join us for our bike ride and hike on June 9 and 22!

Trail Town meeting May 6th
Morehead Tourism is working hard to become a designated Trail Town, this involves the rerouting of the Sheltowee Trace Trail and a bike path.
There is a public forum this coming Monday, May 6 at 6 p.m. at the Conference Center to share ideas about the Trail Town plans. Please make every effort to attend.
