Interested in starting a garden this year? Sustainable Morehead has two community gardens – one by City Park and one on Forest Hills Dr. Anyone interested in having a garden plot (at least 20’x20’) must sign up and pay the $20 fee for the season. In addition, gardeners may partner with Project Worth which will provide them with seeds, organic fertilizer and other gardening needs. Project Worth gardeners must also attend six of the nine gardening/food preservation education meetings. Gardeners using the Sustainable Morehead plots may choose to participate in the Project Worth program, but it is not mandatory.
