Worm Composting Workshop April 12th
You are invited to a WORMshop at the Living Arts and Science Center on Saturday, April 12, 10:00-11:30 am.
Join Seedleaf volunteer and Master Community Composter Amy Preece in this fun, hands-on introduction to vermiculture --- using worms to process food waste! Learn how to create your own worm compost bin and what to feed and not to feed the worms. Participants will leave with everything they need to start processing kitchen waste in the comfort of their own home… or school! Classroom resources and PD credit are available for teachers!
Location: Living Arts and Science Center, 362 N. Martin Luther King
Audience: All ages (Children under 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult) – Great for science teachers!
